Desgaste profesional y actividad física en personal de salud de un Hospital Regional de Paraguay

Resumo

Introdução: A síndrome de burnout e a inatividade física constituem problemas crescentes de saúde pública entre os profissionais de saúde, com implicações diretas na qualidade assistencial e na sustentabilidade dos sistemas de saúde. Objetivo: Identificar o nível de desgaste profissional e de atividade física nos profissionais de saúde do Hospital Regional de Coronel Oviedo em 2023 e explorar sua associação. Metodologia: Estudo descritivo de corte transversal realizado com 250 profissionais de saúde, selecionados por amostragem probabilística estratificada proporcional. Foram aplicados o MBI-HSS e o IPAQ (versão curta). A associação foi avaliada pelo teste exato de Fisher. Resultados: 69,6% (n=174) eram do sexo feminino; média de idade 35,0 anos (DP=7,0). Baixo nível de atividade física em 59,6% (n=149). Desgaste moderado em 51,2% e alto em 22,0%. Não houve associação significativa (p=0,804). Conclusões: Alta prevalência de desgaste profissional e inatividade física. A ausência de associação sugere etiologia multifatorial com papel preponderante dos fatores organizacionais.
