Introduction: Nursing care plays an important role in biosafety care, especially in environments such as in the case of patients with tuberculosis. Objective: Describe nursing care in the biosafety of the environment of patients with tuberculosis. Methodology: Qualitative modality, type of phenomenological research, interpretive approach, interviews with in-depth open questions are carried out with 5 key informants, prior authorization and signing of the informed consent, once the information was collected it was interpreted, analyzed and categorized. Results: Nursing staff show a deep understanding of the importance of biosafety in the prevention of tuberculosis, recognizing the need to comply with infection control measures. Although there is a positive perception towards the use of personal protective equipment and isolation protocols, concerns are highlighted about the lack of resources and capacity to maintain biosafety in all care settings. There is evidence of a widespread commitment to the safety and well-being of these patients, showing a willingness to adopt preventative measures and comply with infection control guidelines. Conclusion: Nursing care in the biosafety environment of patients with tuberculosis is described, addressing the perception and attitudes of the staff. A commitment to patient safety through preventative measures and adherence to infection control guidelines is highlighted, although challenges such as anxiety with resource limitations have been identified.
